Our Turbocharger product line covers forced induction systems for Sinotruk and Shacman engines, including both standard and high-performance variants. What Is a Turbocharger?

A Turbocharger is a turbine-driven forced induction device that increases an internal combustion engine's efficiency and power output by forcing extra compressed air into the combustion chamber. It utilizes the energy from the engine's exhaust gases to drive a compressor, allowing the engine to burn more fuel and produce more power without significantly increasing engine displacement.

Operating conditions: It operates under extreme conditions — exhaust gas temperatures reaching approximately 600°C at the turbine inlet, with rotational speeds ranging from 8,000 to 11,000 RPM. These demands require precision manufacturing, high-temperature materials, and proper lubrication for reliable operation.

Our Turbocharger units are primarily designed for heavy-duty commercial vehicles, including Shacman and Sinotruk HOWO models, to handle tough roads and massive cargo weights. They are the ideal choice for vehicles operating in long-haul logistics, mining, and construction transport, providing reliable performance in harsh conditions.

Custom and OEM Support

Since we operate our own factory with turbine housing casting lines and precision balancing workshops, we can manufacture a wide variety of Turbocharger models and accept custom orders to meet specific performance or fitment requirements for different engine configurations.

OEM manufacturing capability. We produce each unit to customer specifications, including custom mounting configurations, specific A/R ratios, and modified compressor/turbine wheel designs. Provide your drawings or technical requirements, and our engineering team can develop a custom solution.

Inspection and Maintenance

Visual inspection of the compressor wheel. Remove the air intake hose between the air filter and Turbocharger. Inspect the compressor wheel blades for cracks or damage, and check for signs of contact between the wheel and housing.

Rotation check. Rotate the compressor wheel clockwise by hand to verify smooth rotation without binding or seizure.

Axial play measurement. Using a dial indicator, measure axial movement. Axial play should be less than 0.15mm — beyond this indicates internal wear requiring replacement.

Radial clearance check. Using a 0.1mm feeler gauge, measure clearance between the wheel and housing. If the feeler gauge passes through, clearance meets safety requirements.

Usage Guidelines

Due to the extreme operating conditions — turbine temperatures around 600°C and rotational speeds of 8,000-11,000 RPM — proper usage is essential for long service life:

No sudden acceleration after cold start. Allow the engine to idle for 3-5 minutes after start-up to ensure oil reaches and lubricates the Turbocharger bearings before driving.

Do not shut down immediately after high-speed operation. Before stopping the engine, allow it to idle for 3-5 minutes to let the cooling system dissipate heat and prevent oil coking from residual high temperatures.

Keep the system clean. When removing it, use clean cloths to block all hose connections to prevent debris from entering.

Regular filter replacement. Air filters and oil filters should be inspected and replaced every 8,000 kilometres or according to manufacturer schedule. In high-dust areas, shorten the replacement interval.

Regular seal inspection. Check sealing of intake and exhaust lines using soapy water, with focus on compressor outlet, turbine inlet flange, and connection points.
